Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.”

Our Service
Things We Are Doing
Religious: The Shahi Masjid offers many religious services such as holding Eid Prayers, Taraweeh prayers, Nikah Services, Fatwah and other Islamic services.
Social: Other than hosting the Eid prayers we regularly host lectures, community get-togethers and participate in local activities.
Lectures: The Shahi Masjid doesn’t only deliver lectures on Fridays, but a series of lectures are arranged for the community’s education to bring both Islamic and social awareness.
Education: The Shahi Masjid has an educational institution attached by the name of Jamia Islamia Faizul-Uloom which is responsible for running classes to teach the Holy Quran, Arabic and other Islamic books.
we put a great emphasis on our multicultural society as such focus on also inter-faith & intra-faith. We want to expand our activities to other subjects in the future.
We ask everyone to pray whole heartedly to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) for our success. (Amin)
Quran Learning
Our students have been memorising the Quran for many years and at the end we give our exceptional students Sanad
Mosque Development
The mosque is over 600 years old and it not only contributes towards local culture but also serves the five daily prayers and Eid.
Funeral Service
As a responsible Muslim organisation we provide all the services related to funeral from burial to Janaza.
Counselling
We offer advice to people and try to resolve minor disputes, that contributes towards community buiilding
Cultural Events
We celebrate many cultural events at the mosque such as Eid-ul-Adha and Eid-ul-Fitr. We also mark national events
Matrimonial
A 'Nikah' is a Sharia Law marriage contract. The Nikah ceremony will be performed by the appointed Imams
We make dua to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى)
“The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you” [Quran, 49:10]

On the authority of Ibn Omar, the son of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with both, who said : I heard the messenger of Allah say :
“Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammed is the messenger of Allah, performing the prayers, paying the zakat, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan.”
