In the name of Allah (ﷻ)

ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌۭ دُرِّىٌّۭ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍۢ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢ زَيْتُونَةٍۢ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍۢ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍۢ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌۭ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ
وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ

Shahi Masjid has been serving the local community since the early 16th Century. It’s known to the people in the region by the name Shahi Masjid and Eid Gah.
The Shahi Masjid was completed by the late 17th century with the help of His Royal Highness Nawab General Mohammad Aamir Khan the first ruler of the Princely State of Tonk.
Mission Statement
An upright place that promotes the values of moderation, kindness, charity, forgiveness, patience, perseverance, and neighbourliness in the spirit of Islamic teachings. A welcoming place for people of all backgrounds seeking an understanding of Islam and Muslims.

Five Pillars of Islam
On the authority of Ibn Omar, the son of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with both, who said : I heard the messenger of Allah say :
“Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammed is the messenger of Allah, performing the prayers, paying the zakat, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan.”

Our Service
Things We Are Doing
Religious: The Shahi Masjid offers many religious services such as holding Eid Prayers, Taraweeh prayers, Nikah Services, Fatwah and other Islamic services.
Education: The Shahi Masjid has an educational institution attached by the name of Jamia Islamia Faizul-Uloom which is responsible for running classes to teach the Holy Quran, Arabic and other Islamic books.
Social: Other than hosting the Eid prayers we regularly host lectures, community get-togethers and participate in local activities.
Lectures: The Shahi Masjid doesn’t only deliver lectures on Fridays, but a series of lectures are arranged for the community’s education to bring both Islamic and social awareness.
Quran Learning
Our students have been memorising the Quran for many years and at the end we give our exceptional students Sanad
Mosque Development
The mosque is over 600 years old and it not only contributes towards local culture but also serves the five daily prayers and Eid.
Funeral Service
As a responsible Muslim organisation we provide all the services related to funeral from burial to Janaza.

There is more happiness in giving than in receiving
Charity benefits the believer not just in this life but the next. Charity averts calamity. increases sustenance and blessings in one’s life.
Allah says in the Qur’an, “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned”
(Qur’an, 2: 245).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said “Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire”
(Hadith, Tirmidhi).
The Prophet (ﷺ) also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for all of those who give charity : “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection (the Day of Judgement) will be their charity”
(Hadith, Tirmidhi).
Shahi Masjid Expenses
You may contribute towards the upkeep and development of the mosque. The money will be used exclusively for this cause. This will include paying for the mosque's expenses.

Zakat & Sadaqah
You may contribute towards Zakat which will be used in accordance with the categories outlined by Islamic Law. This will be kept separate from all the other operations.

Jamia Islamia Expenses
The money will be used exclusively for the cause of developing the educational Darul-Uloom and looking after the students. That will include library, books and other such amenities .

Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honourable reward.
