Jamia Islamia

Kalima Al-Tayyab

“I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah (ﷻ), and I bear witness that Muhammad (ﷺ) is the messenger of Allah(ﷻ).”

لآ اِلَهَ اِلّا اللّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوُل اللّهِ

Qala Abd-Allah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنه)

I heard the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) say :

“It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.”

Al-Tirmidhi (2914) and Abu Dawood (1464)

History of Jamia Islamia Faizul-Uloom

Gate Jamia
Islamic schools have occupied a prominent position among Muslims for their noble ambition purposes to teach Islam, purifying souls, and development of character.

In The year 1375 Hijri/1956 Gregorian year this Jamia was established in the new Indian Republic.  The Jamia was founded by His Eminence Sheikh Hajj Muhammad Ramadan, who was a student of the great, Sheikh of Islam, Maulana. Hussein Ahmed Madani –

This Jamia was established and divided into a number of Departments; such as the Department of Education, Department of Da’wah and Guidance. Then the Jamia established several other facilities such as Dar al-Iftaa, Dar al-Kutub, Accommodation for Guests, Student Residence Halls , onboard kitchen, inhouse publishing and finally established other Administrative departments such as media department, accounts department, and religious offices department, Seal of Prophecy Maintenance Division.

With Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ )’s Blessings we now have over 20 employees including 17 teachers. We run around 8 Arabic classes, we have around 64 students memorising the Quran and in total around 137 that include Nazra. Then those students who study Islamic Sciences where they specialise also in Persian and Arabic.

There was an urgent need to build a spacious hallway, improve our facilities especially the library as we know reading is the  soul of the education.

It is worth noting that this Jamia has provided many services, both to the students who have gone to have excellent careers. With Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ )’s grace and with prayers and assistance of the everyone Inshallah we intend to achieve a lot more in the near future.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

(When) the time would draw close to the Last Hour, knowledge would be snatched away, turmoil would be rampant, miserliness would be put (in the hearts of the people) and therewould be much blotshed. They said: What is al-harj? Thereupon he said: It is bloodshed.

— Sahih Muslim 157 d

Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

The one who is most versed in Allah’s Book should act as Imam for the people, but if they are equally versed in reciting it, then the one who has most knowledge regarding Sunnah if they are equal regarding the Sunnah, then the earliest one to emigrate ; it they emigrated at the same time, then the earliest one to embrace Islam. No man must lead another in prayer where (the latter) has authority, or sit in his place of honor in his house, without his permission. Ashajj in his narration used the word, “age” in place of “Islam”.

— Sahih Muslim 673 a
